It’s Reeperbahn Festival Time!
Still fired up and inspired from last weekend at SPOT Festival, we‘re already getting started for our next stop of our EMBTF Programme.

At Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, the Music Cities Network will have a joint discussion about “How we can boost European Music within Europe“. With this panel, MCN invites frontrunners of innovative ideas to share their ideas on the musical cohesion of Europe. What are the necessary preconditions for a truly European music ecosystem that supports the circulation of European music? What are the barriers preventing this circulation? Speakers: Tom Besford, Chief Executive at English Folk Expo, UK, EMBTF Participant, Björn Mathes, CEO, FerryHouse GmbH & Co. KG, GER, Katrina Lopez, Music Manager, Keychange Innovator, Canada, moderated by Lena Ingwersen, Project Manager Music Cities Network, Cultural Manager & DJ, Keychange Innovator.

Apart from the panel, our EMBTF Participants will also attend Workshop No. 2 under the motto “Define”. Observations will be analysed and synthesized in order to define the core problems which have been identified up to this point. The purpose is to interpret and refram the research and map it into activities.
